Our fans were great!. They were more vocal and into the game compared to Morris. That was great to see, and the girls fed off that (support).

We knew it was going to be a battle. They wanted to avenge their loss up there. I wasn't sure how the girls would handle the game, since it was their third in a week plus it being the end of the quarter, but they were ready and kept fighting. You could feel the energy from the fans right from the start, and I think that helped the girls tremendously!

We shot better this game, but we didn't rebound and take care of the ball. We have to do much better in those areas. Our defense wasn't as sharp as it usually is.

We played a great first half. We let them take it to us the second half. With a tough, aggressive team like Melrose, we have to keep them on the ropes.
