I guess the doctor's choice is to let this thing rest and hopefully I'll be at full strength here. I wasn't at full strength Sunday and I'm not going to help anybody by going out there and having to worry about how long I can go.

I want to get more sound. I want to be more in tune with my body and my mechanics, to cut down on my mistakes. Look at Roger Clemens and Randy Johnson. People talk about them being power pitchers, but they throw the ball where they want 95 percent of the time.

All it takes is one hot month and you can win it. Look at us last year. We went 22-6 in May. We had a losing record after May, but we won the division. We're going to be fine.

I think they're very important. Obviously you don't want to tax your body. You get in the heat of battle and you're going to want to stay in there when you probably shouldn't.

What an honor, man. It was just a tremendous feeling just to be on the same ballfield as somebody that you idolize and have a chance to compete against him. It was a well-pitched game and I'm just glad we came out on top.
