fun good-day race
Yeah, our car was really good even after the crash. I told you before the race that if we had good track position at the end I thought we could finish good. It was a really good day for our Linksys car. Just a fun day racing.
home past people
It was really special for Bass Pro Shops to take Tracker off the side and put Joplin, Missouri on there. They have helped me a lot this past week with putting together ways to raise money to help rebuild Joplin. It's my hometown. It was heartbreaking to see the tornado and see all the people that lost their homes and the ones that lost their lives. It is really special that Johnny let us put that on there. Hopefully we made some people proud tonight.
buying tools lowes
Needless to say, I'll be buying my Irwin Tools at Lowe's.
forget good rest week
I know it's a good story for the rest of the week but just go on and forget about it.
forget good rest
I know it's a good story for the rest of the week, but just go on and forget about it.
apologize percent
I need to apologize to Kurt. I got into him. That was 100 percent my fault.
above drive following future guts next people racing rather stay team tough worked year
If people above me get things worked out, and it happens, I would rather be at Roush Racing next year because that's where my future is, ... And it's getting kind of tough to stay with a team you know you're not going to be with the following year. You still get in and drive your guts out and give 100 percent, but if I had my choice, I'd rather be at Roush next year.
car contract felt fine last next signed spoke
Honestly, last Monday, when I spoke with Chip, I really felt that I was going to be in the 42 car next year, and I was fine with that because I had signed a contract that said that's where I was going to be,
came definitely good
It's definitely different from where I came from - a good different.
best car crew knew pit races won
There was a lot of pressure. I wasn't with one of the best Busch teams. When I got in Sterling's car, it had won two races that year. I knew the car was there, the team, the pit crew and everything. I was fortunate.
ahead beat either guys imperative maintain move running strong trying
The guys we are trying to beat have been running strong lately. It's imperative that we either maintain or move ahead of them at California.
car flat hard laps run tire tough
Well, we just had a very tough weekend. Our car wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, either. It's hard to take when you run 490 laps and have a flat tire with 10 to go.
At one point, I was 30th on the racetrack, but we were able to come back.
