They only have so many scholarships they can give out.
although benefits national next recruit season
They had 20 or so commitments before the season even started. Amazing. They will see the benefits from the national championship next season and beyond. Although you can't recruit much better than what they have done.
backs bringing dame glass high loved offensive rodney weakness
I loved what they did defensively. Offensively, they're bringing in some backs (most notably Rodney Glass of Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks, Calif.), but I think there is a weakness in only (getting) one offensive lineman so far.
everybody figure fit four good grand high kids scheme school stop upside wants
Everybody wants to be a 5 and if he's not a 5, he wants to be a 4. But you have to stop somewhere. You can't give it out like candy. ... All these kids are very good high school players. What you have to figure out is how much upside they have, where they fit in the grand scheme of things three, four years down the road.
outweigh point pros square
It's at the point where if you can square yourself away academically to do it, the pros outweigh the cons.
brown class coach committed good impressive manner move national prior season starting texas
I think the impressive thing about this Texas class is the manner in which they got these kids. Most of them were committed prior to the season even starting and a good many of those were committed to coach Brown before the summer. Amazing. Things should get even better now that they are the national champs as they move forward.
changes coaching difficult expecting recruit threw
I think the coaching changes really threw Coker a curveball. I don't know if they were expecting it to be as difficult as it has been for them to recruit this year.
close dozen few finish great half hours kids last leading opportunity signing somewhere top
I think we're not going to see them close like they always do with the half a dozen big-time kids in the last 48-72 hours leading up to signing day. But they've got a great opportunity to get a C.J. Spiller at the end and a few others. I think they'll do well and finish somewhere in the top 15, I would suspect.
balanced filled great needs players speed top
It's balanced from top to bottom. They have great players at every position, they filled all their needs and they've got great numbers. It's athletes, it's speed and I think they've done very well.
class consider fall florida football good regardless state team
It's not going to be a sexy-looking class, but that's not what it's about. It's about going out and getting what your football team needs. From a Florida State perspective, if they go out and get the linemen, I consider it a good year, regardless of where they fall in the rankings.
class consistent dame feeling recruit season secure year
Their class was secure before the season started; it wasn't just what they did this year on the field. I have a feeling this is what we're going to see on a consistent basis. They were aggressive. Notre Dame should always recruit like this.
bad both facilities feeling five good great ground happening kids opportunity powerful programs quality rise state tampa teams work
I think what's happening is both teams now have an identity, some more ground work and kids around the state think it's not a bad thing to go play in Tampa or Orlando. It's a good thing. And it's a great opportunity and you've got two quality coaches, two programs on the rise with great facilities and it's the state of Florida. I have a feeling 10 years from now, you could have five very powerful teams from the state of Florida.
good gotten kids leading noise season signing team
I'm a little surprised, because of the season they had, that they haven't gotten more big-time kids at this point. It's a good class. But I thought that was one team that would make a lot of noise leading up to Signing Day.
