On special teams, we weren't very sharp. They scored three goals on the power play and we didn't have any. Five on five, we can play with anybody, we know that. I don't think we're a worse team than them. Maybe less talented, but worse? No way.
That is the last thing I want to do.
It wasn't easy, but for the fans it was great.
It would take a miracle (to play). It's feeling better, but there's too much pain.
I'm happy for him - the way he's playing, he truly deserves it,
You could say it if you want to use that excuse. We lost the hockey game. We didn't play well enough to win it. We didn't deserve to win it.
It was great for the New York fans and all the hockey fans. If you're a player like Mark and play so many years in the NHL and did so much for hockey he truly deserved it. He brought the Cup here to New York in 1994 and the people love him, so he deserved it.
It hurts a lot more than it did after the first game. I can not really lift my arm or do anything.
Of course it's nice to be in first, but there's 30 games to go. To be honest with you, I'm not upset.
I don't want to talk about any goals. My goal was to make the playoffs before the season. And I've been in many playoffs and you just never know.
Of course it will be a different game because we didn't play in such a long time. It's a different game on the smaller ice. The first period it will be difficult to try and get our timing. After that, it should be fine.
Of course it's a big honor. The Rangers are an original six team. A lot of great players played hear -- Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier -- a lot of great players. It's a big honor to me.
I'm going to do everything I can to be back and help this team. We've got a day to figure out something. I'll do anything to play. You can bet on it.
I think the whole league has changed. There are a lot of guys changing teams. It's going to be a different league than ever before.
