heroes
Heroes are made every day in the playoffs. Winnie is a new hero for us today.
nights
Some nights you feel like you can't lose. Luckily, it was one of those nights.
came club hockey injuries needed relax sure time
It came at the right time for our hockey club with all the injuries and things that were going on. We needed that time to just relax and regroup. The first day back was a little tough, but I'm sure it'll get better.
dropping guys hopefully
Guys are dropping like flies. Hopefully one day will make a difference.
dressing ice lead opportunity preaching talk younger
I think there's an opportunity to lead in a lot of different ways, even if you're a younger guy. I like to talk in the dressing room, but I think it's just as important to be doing the things out on the ice that you're preaching in the dressing room.
exciting great growing heroes moment playoffs watching
Growing up you're watching the playoffs and you're watching how exciting it is. You see heroes being made every game, every year. It was a great moment for me. Something I'll never forget.
ahead far game hopefully maybe needed top
We needed to get one out here, maybe two, and we did get one so hopefully we can get on top of Game 3. We just have to keep going. We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves.
gave knew positive second upbeat
We never gave up. In the second intermission, we were very positive and upbeat in here. We knew we could beat them.
experience game hard kept work
We just kept battling. It was unbelievable how the game ended. Experience is one thing, but we've got hard work and determination. We just had to keep going.
battle good teams
To be honest, I think it's going to be a battle for everyone to get into the playoffs. Because there's just so many good teams now.
mindset power wait
We haven't contributed as much as we'd like to. We can't be of the mindset where we're going to wait for our power play to get something going.
energy game great guys home last regular season win
We wanted to win this game pretty bad. It's the last home game of the regular season for the fans. It's our 20th win at home, which is something we wanted, too. The young guys did a great job. There was a lot of energy out of those guys, and we got a big win.
