The third period was obviously everything we had. The first and second were the worst periods we played all year long.
boys exciting feeling gave minute overtime pleased
Going into an overtime session, you get the feeling that it's going to be over in a minute or it's going to go on for a while. It was exciting in some ways, nerve-wracking in others. I was pleased with the boys that they never gave up.

The referee thought the player that knocked it down was the same guy that put it in the net, but that wasn't the case. That's neither here nor there. It's a done deal.
