I'm not happy with the way we swung the bat today. We swung at some bad pitches. We will have to do a better job of hitting if we want to play a long time, but for the most part it was a win and I'm not going to take anything away from that.

It bothers me that a kid throws the ball so well out there for that long and not get the perfect game. She threw a great ball game.

For us to strike out that many times was unacceptable. I was unhappy with that. I didn't think we accepted the challenge. It's getting old out-hitting teams.

It was a long day. There was a lot of character to come back. To lose 3-2 and not lay down ù these kids have done stuff like this in summer league.

She's got some tools that not many have. She's a hard worker and she's strong. Her bat speed probably rivals a bunch of college kids. She's aggressive, and right now, those are things you can't teach as a coach.

As a coach, you always like the idea of controlling your own destiny. That's been our motto all year, just to go out and win our games and not worry about what other teams are doing. If we continue to win the games that we play, only good things will happen for us in the long run.

The kids expect to make plays. It's a lot of concentration. We spend a lot of time working on fundamentals and they do a good job of that.

Every chance we get we want to take advantage of it. It was a good league win.

We came back and started swinging the bats the way we're capable of the last half of the day. These conditions are pretty much on the horrible side, but the kids showed some great character and stuck to it and played very well in the end.

Two, big clutch hits. We had three, two-run hits and that tells me that we have kids coming up and producing in scoring situations.

We are going to dance with who brought us here. We like to swing the bats more. Any coach would take advantage of what they have in abundance.

We hit the ball well tonight, not just at the top of the order. Top to bottom we hit the ball well.

We gave up one hit. One hit and you get beat like that. That was frustrating. We played good defense and had good pitching. We just didn't compete offensively.
