We're going to line up in a one-back offense most of the time. We're going to be in the shotgun a lot. I hesitate to call it a Spread offense, though. It's really a ball-control offense, and that's something the Spread is not known for in general.

Our line play versus the run is going to be a key. We're going to have to play disciplined on defense. No matter what offense someone plays, if you get whipped up front, you're not going to win. We saw that when we looked at last year's tape, but we've made some adjustments.

Our junior class has a year's worth of experience. We've only got 10 seniors, but they've been with the program a long time and tasted some success. We feel like they're the ones who've overcome since their freshman year. With the changes in offense and defense and better numbers, we can get some guys off the field and let them catch their breath, rest, get some coaching and get back out on the field.
