drive edge felt gives hopefully next played renewed three top week weeks
It gives me renewed drive that hopefully I'll play well this week and next week and get into that top 30 for Sonoma, ... I felt if I played well these three weeks I could do it. I'm right there on the edge now and I can do it. If I don't I can have a week off.
clutch driver drives felt help hit last seemed switched week win
I switched to a new driver last week and that really seemed to help me. I really felt comfortable and hit some clutch drives down the stretch. I made a lot of putts too and you have to do that to win out here.
both felt few left needed round short
Each day, I felt like a left a few (strokes) out there. But today, I made the putts I needed to make, both the short ones and the ones that really made this round complete.
certainly easy felt might sure
It sure wasn't as easy as it might appear. I was never out of the lead, but I certainly felt pressure.
days felt miss
It's just one of those days where things felt right from the start. I was just sharp. I didn't miss many greens.
again excitement felt few holes last line means three tied tournament week
Last week was great, I can't tell you what that means to me, ... Just the excitement I felt and to want to play well again and to do it with the tournament on the line with being tied with Dana with a few holes to play, and to make three birdies in the last three holes, that was pretty gratifying.
chemistry team
I thought our team chemistry was really good, ... they just outplayed us.
champions energy golf guess guys lost start year
I think I lost my golf energy. You can't come out here and go through the motions. These guys are too good. I guess I'm at a crossroads. Right now, I would say I'll play more on the Champions Tour. But if I start to play a little better at the end of the year ... I still like to do this.
difficult hang hit putter south toward
My putter just went south toward the end of the round. I just had no touch, no feel. I couldn't hit it well enough to get away with anything. I'm not going to hang myself. It was a difficult day.
birdie certainly hole looked round turned walk
I won't say it turned my round around, but it certainly helped. It never really looked like I was going to make a 4 on that hole at any point, but to walk away with a birdie was great.
crazy drive hit save sharp
The only crazy drive I hit all day was on eight, but I still managed to save my par. I was pretty sharp out there today.
When it comes down to you, it's uncomfortable,
playing truth
I'm a little surprised, to tell you the truth. I hadn't been playing that well lately.
career condensed guess successful
I guess in a condensed version, I would say I think I've had a successful career but I'm not satisfied,
