He was hot early, but Wethersfield did a nice job of taking him away and it took us a while to find a second scorer. It seemed like we were going to Tyler all the time in the first quarter.

The big surprise this year has been his defense. He doesn't have the quickest feet in the world, he is not the fastest kid and he doesn't jump very well, but he is always in the right place defensively.

I know it's a cliche', but we're taking it one game at a time. We just play on one level all the time and don't get any more excited about one game than another. We just worry about the way we play and what we do.
goals tournament undefeated win wonderful
We'd like to go undefeated in the conference, win the tournament and win a regional. Those are wonderful goals to have.

We talk about our offense might slump a bit, but defense never slumps. You have to play defense all the time and we did a good job of that.
