beat garment honestly living
I honestly thought I would be working in the garment district, ... Everyone else in my neighborhood did that. I figured, 'How can you make a living in music? Who made a living in music?' But once I got started, I figured, 'Hey, you can't beat that.'
sound
I don't know where that sound comes from,
connects music people
There still must be something that connects people with our music,
biggest bills brings compliment date easier greatest happy music people relate saturday simple songs whether worries worry
I think the greatest compliment I get is when people say, 'Thank you' to us after a show, ... The music brings people back to an easier time, when there was no stress, no worries about bills and mortgages or cholesterol. The biggest worry back then was whether you had a date on Saturday night. We're so happy to be able to make people so happy. The songs are simple songs, ones that everyone can relate to.
