affect biggest cincinnati concern game happens next
Our biggest concern was let's not let what happens at Cincinnati affect the next game. In the Big East, you can't let one game affect the next one, because if you've got any little hangover, you're going to get beat.
coaches guys help prepare
Our coaches and our guys have a feel for that team. We know them and that should help us prepare for them. But, on the other hand, they know us too.
hope sure
I sure hope so. That's something we're going to need to do.
circumstance given happened took understand
It did take longer, but, given the circumstances, I understand why it took longer. I don't think given all of our circumstances, it could have happened any quicker.
terrorist
I thought it was a terrorist attack, ... I had no idea what was going on.
challenge chance choose experience game gave good
I thought it would be a good challenge for us at this point. Obviously, I wouldn't choose to do that, but it gave us a chance to play big a little bit. ... That was a good experience for us. I think this game is going to really make us stronger.
chance coach enormous glad recognize
I'm so glad we are going to have the chance to recognize Coach Kraft in this way for the enormous contributions he made to our program.
college coming feelings great mixed
This was a great college atmosphere. I had mixed feelings coming into the gym.
initially looked worse
It actually looked a lot worse than it was. It's much, much better than they initially anticipated.
ahead catch caught changed country final success surprise time took year
I think it changed the game. I think he was way ahead of his time. He caught the country by surprise the year he went to the Final Four. I think even after years he had all that success going to the Final Four, I think that it still took all of us a long time to catch up.
believe exciting fun great happen hell six time
I think in the back of our guys' minds, they always believe that can happen at any time and they have that great confidence. It's exciting as hell because in two possessions, you're making up six points. It's such a momentum-changer. It's fun to have those shooters.
answer clean finished questions
I think in recruiting, it establishes us. I don't have to answer questions about, Are you going to be there? Are you going to be there when I'm finished playing?' It makes it very clean in recruiting.
blame sure
You don't blame it on being tired... I'm sure they were tired, too.
ball both coaching decision gets hands player
You just feel like they take coaching out of your hands. You just feel like, 'I got a coach out there, we're going to put the ball in his hands and then he's going to make the right decision and he does it every time. If he gets fouled, he's going to make the shots, both of them. I think I've said this before. I had Speedy Claxton (at Hofstra) who was just like that. I never thought I would get another player like that, and I have two of them. I don't know, I did something right.
