We really haven't had a game like that this year where we just felt like we couldn't get things going offensively. I thought that Pittsburgh, once they got a hold of the game, did a great job of just controlling the tempo and hitting big shots.

We kept Mike and Allan on (McNamara). We wanted to keep a fresh body on him. These two are very good defensive players. They really get excited about guarding people.

We struggled, and a lot of that credit goes to Marquette. But we finished it off, and that's a sign of a really good team.

We're expecting the doctor to say he can practice. If he is cleared, he'll practice today right after his appointment.

What we do he used to call chuck and duck. I love all the intricate sets he used to run, but with the personnel we have, we've got to let these guys go. We really stress playing together and we have the kind of guys who enjoy that.

When we got back to Philadelphia and we talked about it, we just said, we got a second chance here - we got a second chance in life, forget about basketball. It just made every guy grow up - I think every guy became a little more mature, a little more focused on what's important in life, and I think it had a cumulative effect on our team.

When we had some tough times a couple of years ago, we were all concerned about the program. I never, ever worried about my job. We all worried about the program.
