He's such a good player. We need to get a little more meat on him. He needs to improve his strength and weight this summer. But he's got solid feet and knows what he's doing. .. Before his career is over, he's going to be an all-conference player for us.

There's really not a lot I can say at this point. The decision was made ... after lengthy consultations with our physicians and several others. We were unable to reach a comfort level to move forward with the trade. At this time we felt we had to go in this direction.

I like to watch junior tape, but I also like to get to know the young man. Being an athlete is one thing; being a student and having good character is something else. How can you evaluate that after watching junior tape and maybe getting them on campus one or two times? I'd rather be a step slower.
