love playing sideline
I love playing with these guys. To be on the sideline is going to be tough.
coach guy knows pulse push
A guy who knows the pulse of a team. A guy who knows what's going on, when to back off and when to push harder. Coach Singletary has all those skills, unmatched.
paying sleep
I don't know. I was so tired, I wasn't even paying attention. I'll sleep well tonight.
though
I feel as though we can play a lot better defensively.
anybody example perfect
I've never been around anybody like him. A perfect example was at the memorial. He didn't know Thomas, but the things he said were probably the most poignant.
decision emotional love playing
It's an emotional decision for me; I really love playing with these guys.
looked
After I made the tackle, I looked down and my bicep was rolled up and off to one side,
oh taking year
Oh yeah? He said that? Oh phew I don't see that taking more than a year or so.
coached magic secret
It's not magic. There's no secret formula. It's do what you're coached to do. That's why it's disgusting.
body entire guys love playing rest tough watch year
It's tough. You put an entire off-season in, not only conditioning your body but working with these guys and getting on the same page. I love playing with these guys. I love what I do. It's tough to say that the rest of the year I'm going to watch from the sideline.
apply fight fire goes helmet hit last pad releases second
Say the last thing he said was 'Cover Four' and the helmet goes down. You have to fire a pad, and if you hit the one pad it releases a second pad that you have to fight across. This is something you can apply on the field.
asks certain coach holds saying tells ton
I'm not saying I've ever disrespected any coaches, but sometimes a coach asks you to do something and you think to yourself, Could he have done it? ... But when Singletary tells you to do something, asks you to do a certain technique, what are you going to say? I mean, he did it, he's been there, he's done that, so he holds a ton of respect.
coach presence type
Yeah. But he's that type of guy. He's got more presence about him than any coach I've ever been around.
choice stay
We have no other choice but to stay positive. We have no other choice.
