last referee stop
I'm a champion. I think the Bus' last stop is here in Detroit. It's official, like the referee whistle.
believe city
I believe in this city and its future.
coach conversation game happened late loved situations talked
I do know that I would have loved to have been in there late in the game, ... Coach and I talked about all the situations that happened in the game and everything that was going on. But it's a conversation I'm going to keep and not talk about.
winning challenges facts
I was fortunate enough to win a Super Bowl before retiring, and in fact I retired immediately after winning the Super Bowl. I went out on top, and intend to come out of the Guinness Pro Challenge on top, too.
sports accomplishment
It was probably the biggest accomplishment of my life.
hate michigan detroit
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and I hate Michigan.
teammate let-me let-me-down
My teammates, they put me on their backs and they wouldn't let me down.
thinking careers want
You want bold? Ask the hundreds of defensive backs I ran over during my career if they think I'm bold.
nice people fleeting
Fame is fleeting, and you can't get caught up in it. Signing autographs, taking pictures, and being nice to people is a small price to pay for the upside that comes with this.
want sticks roles
It's one of those things when you are in a role you have to do what they ask you to do. If they want me to come in and stick it in, I have to come in and stick it in.
disappointed-in-you brady disappointed
I'm disappointed in you Tom Brady
believe football good kick prepare seattle
Don't believe that. Seattle has got a good football team. If we don't prepare and we don't get ready, they are going to kick our butts.
difficult fourth guys late painful possible start tackle time trust
Even when it's warm, they don't want to see me, trust me. I try to make it as difficult as possible for those guys and as painful as possible every time they tackle me. So late in the game, in the fourth quarter, that's when you start getting those big runs, because they don't want to come up and tackle you.
gotta
That's something you gotta live with. It is what it is.
