I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

Anytime you lose your point guard, that's a killer. It's a shame, and you hate it when something like that happens. That young lady was doing a great job for them.

We played them a couple of years ago. We knew what they were going to do. We knew that they liked to apply pressure and that they were going to use lots of cuts to the basket.
