hudson might seen since tim
I've seen Tim Hudson since '99 and I thought Holby might need another day. If Ramirez had been pitching, he would have been in there.
anybody both good hitter sides
Felipe is going to hit. You won't see anybody up there red-hot all the time. He's a very good hitter from both sides of the plate.
good
Yes, it was (a good run). In the eighth, I thought we were going to win.
chance crooked win
We haven't been able to put up a crooked number. If we put up a crooked number, or have a big inning there, we have a chance to win the ballgame.
field nobody sure thankful threw
I just wanted to make sure the field was playable and I'm just thankful everyone got threw it with nobody getting hurt,
good looked
I really haven't looked enough to be able to tell you. But we have a pretty good core.
balls encouraged help signed since sure talked
I'm sure everyone that's talked to him since the day he signed has encouraged him to do that more often. It's going to help him get some balls through the infield.
center greatest joe last mays missed players talk willie
He's one of the greatest players ever to play the game. When you talk about center fielders like Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays and Mantle, he's up there with them. If he hadn't missed the last three-four years with injuries, he'd probably have at least 100 more homers.
anybody baseball best elite fun group healthy players thankful watch
He's one of the best to every play the game, and he's still one of the better players in baseball today. But he's in that elite group with anybody who's ever been on the field. It's a lot of fun to watch him. We're thankful that he's healthy and he can still show everyone he can still do it.
anybody baseball best elite fun group players watch
He's one of the best to ever play the game. He's still one of the better players in baseball today, still in that elite group today. But he's in that elite group with anybody who's ever been out there on the field. It's a lot of fun to watch him.
later ready sounds
It sounds like, hopefully, later in the week, he'll be ready to go, ... He's day to day. We'll just have to see how he is every day.
couple everybody field gone hard last seen walk wants worked
Everybody around here who's seen how hard he worked and how much he wants to play and what he's gone through the last couple of years, you don't want to see him walk off the field like we did.
accurate gone management poor second unless
It was poor management on my part. I should've gone out after the second one and said, 'Don't try it unless you can make a strong, accurate throw.' I should've told him before the game.
guys
A lot of times in this league, guys get the day off and they end up contributing big,
