beaten far five win
I really don't like the Chiefs. They've beaten us five times in a row. That's far too many. When I first got here, they didn't know what a win was.
hopefully
Hopefully it does. When you look at how the 'ones' play, the starters, they're out there doing some real damage.
ready
I feel like I went about this the right way, ... I'm ready to contribute.
against best chance contribute england games gotten liked ready thursday
I feel like I went about this the right way. I feel like I'll be ready to contribute and play my best against New England on Thursday night. I would have liked to have gotten at least one or two preseason games in and gotten a chance to play against somebody. ... It is how it is.
five matter worked
No matter who is at quarterback, I'll be OK. I've worked with Marques for the five years that he's been here.
either score
It was pretty ballsy, ... Either score or lose.
certain gave guy second shot
The guy gave all he had for 21 years, ... In certain offenses, he could still be a second receiver. He's just not getting that shot anymore.
either score
I was very surprised. It's either score or lose, and they scored.
burst keeps soon
It keeps going down to the wire. Pretty soon it's going to burst and we're going to be on the other side.
along great hold wrong
I don't know what is wrong or what was wrong with Randy. We should have been able to get along without him. He's a great player. He's a big part of our offense, but we still should have been able to hold it down without him.
ask bet league week
We could ask for a week off, but I bet the league will not give it to us.
across competing game guy knew randy sign signed step welcomed
I'm always competing with the guy across the field. I don't want him to get all the balls. It just makes you step your game up that much more. I knew we were going to sign Randy before I even signed my contract. I welcomed it from day one.
certain felt fifth fourth greatest holding receiver second time
I felt like he was holding on, to go from the greatest receiver of all time to the fourth or fifth receiver on that team. In certain offenses, he probably still could be a second receiver.
games west winning
That's the way AFC West games go - down to the wire. We were on the winning end when I first got here.
