He's a hyper kid and he's been playing well.

Early on, our defense wasn't really good. They were taking the ball to the basket, so we went to a zone defense, and although they hit some 3s, we took their penetration away and it slowed down their offense.
couple mistakes
A couple of mistakes here and there were the difference.

I don't mind them sitting up front. It's part of the excitement and atmosphere of the game.
glad kids played rewarded
The kids played well for us this season, and I'm glad to see them get rewarded with this selection.

There was only one second left, but you never know what can happen in a high school game.

The one game we were ahead by 10 (against Amador) is the only one we lost.

They just came out and took the ball to the basket. But we were able to get back in the game.

They had a lot of steals and we turned the ball over a lot.
confidence hoped playing starting
They're starting to play the way we hoped they'd play all year. They're playing with confidence and getting things done.
intensity level midway picked quarter second six spell
Defensively our intensity level picked up. They went through a spell of about 25 possessions from midway through the second to about mid-third quarter where they only scored six points.
free problem throws year
Free throws have been a problem all year for us.
