Before the holiday break, the kids were really looking forward to seeing dolphins and learning about them. Now that everyone's back, I have to calm them down and say 'just a few more days.' There's just that much excitement around this program.

I've had Officers Giordano and C.B. Anderson come down and help out with the kids. The last thing I would ever want is a kid to grow up despising the police and other agencies of the government. Sometimes, though, with the households these kids come from - either drug-use or crime related - it's inevitable.

This program was hugely successful in 2005, and we just received a grant to run it again. I love this program because it keeps kids off the streets, and more than that, it's fun for them.
