great respond saves seeing
He had some big saves early, he was really seeing the ball. It was great to see him respond and come back and have a big game.
ball care ending games gimmick guys kids moved pay six slide trying
I thought we moved the ball really well. Our kids have done that all year, they're real unselfish. We don't care who scores. Every team's trying all these little slide games and all these gimmick defenses, and they keep ending up having to pay for it because we've got six guys that can play offense.
coach cupboard guy left middle struggling team
They're a team struggling in transition. Their coach left them in the middle of the year, and the guy left their cupboard pretty bare.
absolutely chance final fourth game guys idiot minutes proud scoring shot taking
I told them, 'We're absolutely not scoring 30. When guys get a chance to get in the game they want to score. But I was proud of them for someone not being an idiot and taking a shot in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
ball beginning days few fort held pile seemed wound

definitely effort move shots
Sixty-one shots later, here we are. Our effort was definitely good. But we're going to have play well on Saturday, because they're good. They're well-coached, they're disciplined, and we're going to have to move the ball. It's going to be a battle.
chance game kids last motivated reasons row streak three win winning
That's probably one of the reasons that kids come here. We have a chance to win every year. I don't know how much they think about, but 49 in a row is a lot of wins. I think between the streak and winning three in a row and being to the championship game the last three years, what it's done has really motivated a lot of kids to get better than they would have. That's because they want to get back there.
bar great hard jersey kids owe pride reason responsibility teams tradition
We have a lot of pride and tradition at Salisbury, and the reason that we've had a lot of great teams is because the kids play real hard for the maroon and gold. When they put that jersey on, they know that they owe a responsibility to that jersey, to the forefathers that have established that bar at Salisbury.
