decent forward looking road seem though tough
We seem to play pretty decent on the road, so even though it's going to be a tough road swing, we're looking forward to it.

We've been down before at the half, so it wasn't a big deal to us. Five of our last six games we've had a chance to win and didn't have the desire to pull it out. We were a bunch of individuals, but tonight we came together and were able to pull out a win.

We've been executing really well (the last five games). So hopefully we're getting things turned around at the right time. Like I told the kids, we're trying to peak for the tournament now.
defense quicker
We wanted to go to a smaller, quicker lineup to play man-to-man on defense and that got us back in the game.

We've had that zone in for only four days. We wanted to stay in the zone and not get into a one-on-one situation with them.

We finished the game. We hadn't finished the game the past four.
discussion game issue practice ready road
We've never made (playing on the road) a big deal, so it's never become an issue with the kids. There's no discussion about where we're playing. It's just a road game and we just go to practice and get ready to play.
good news
The good news is, someone is going to win.
free point rebounds second
We got outplayed again. They killed us on the boards. At one point during the second half, they had 20 more rebounds than us. We couldn't even block-out on a free throw.
ball felt shoot
We felt they didn't shoot the ball well from the outside.
avoid dig eight game hole nine
We didn't want to dig our hole any deeper. We don't want to be eight or nine and have to play in the play-in game for the tournament. The only way we're going to avoid that is to get some wins.

We talked about this being the team that beat us in the tournament at practice yesterday. Hopefully we got that bad game out of our system for the year in the second Kent State game.

You hate to do this as a coach. But I felt it was absolutely necessary.
