complaints-and-complaining league takes
I'm not complaining, but that takes a toll. The league is just so difficult.
basketball biggest city embodied finds guys indiana inner kid kids mean murphy nba pickup pictures playing pure shooting stuff takes walk wealth wilt wonders
I can still see Calvin Murphy getting 62 points, and I can still see flashbacks from the pictures of Wilt getting 100, ... You go from the biggest to the smallest. The wonders of the game, from the guys playing pickup to the kids shooting in Indiana to the inner city kid who finds a way out through the sport of basketball - and I don't mean necessarily to the NBA - are embodied in this game. It doesn't take wealth or pure size. It takes heart, repetition, talent. All that stuff is embodied in the game. When I walk through that building, it's embodied there.
amazing game ourselves takes
It was just an amazing game for them. They made us look poor. And we made ourselves look poor. It takes two.
minutes takes took
Normally, it takes us about 10 minutes to get into the game. Today, it took us 25.
basketball game good people sudden takes three
People had the misconception that if you have three 6-10 kids, all of a sudden you have a good basketball team. The game takes instinct.
good greatest guard mind point shooter takes three track worked
Rashad doesn't mind who he takes a three on. We put him at point guard and every play worked its way to be for him. That's kind of unusual. He will be on track to be the greatest 3-point shooter we've ever had here, and we've had some pretty good ones.
blamed game mistake turned worst
It was the worst mistake he ever made. That was the game we were down by 25 and I turned to him every play and blamed him on it.
playing

Everyone praised us, ... It was, 'They stuck around.'
darts memorable players thrown
He's one of the most memorable players we've ever had if you think about just how spectacular he's been and the darts he's thrown at teams.
george great inspired mason matter ncaa opportunity others overwhelm scared tournament
Sometimes the NCAA Tournament can overwhelm a team. Others come in and see the great opportunity and play with a sense of looseness, even better than what they had. ... George Mason was never scared off by the NCAA. As a matter of fact, they were inspired by the NCAA.
enthusiasm kindness needs possibly pulled
I pulled Marcus off and berated him as much as I possibly could. Marcus didn't come out with the kind of enthusiasm that he needs to.
disrupted either fought game gone incredible offense team teams
No team has disrupted our half-court offense as much as Washington. It was an incredible game by two teams who fought with everything they had. I don't think either team could have gone another minute.
