Right now they are overloaded in terms of manpower.
It's been bothering me since before I got down here. It's actually gotten better than it was, but it hasn't gone away.
I really wasn't worried about Scotty because he was never really complaining about his shoulder. As long as he's not hurt and not complaining about his shoulder, he's going to be fine.
He didn't really seem reserved or cautious or anything else about it. We know it's important to other people, and we hope that they remember all the great things that he did here.
It's been tough. All I can do is keep working and try to do what I can to help the team.
No matter what's happened, it's important for people to remember that he became a big part of the city and of this team,
This goes back to when I was about six. I don't think I've ever felt good. It goes back awhile. The shoulder ends up hitting the wall, the diving (for balls) and lead arm swing, so it takes a lot of pounding and a lot of stress. It obviously gets sore from time to time.
No, I don't think we've lost control at all. I think that Tony thought the situation called for him to argue, and I was just asking why that was a strike when it hadn't been a strike all day.
In that situation, I thought I deserved a better answer than, 'Don't you come back here and argue with me,' ... I asked, 'How's that ball a strike?' and that's the answer I get. He doesn't have time to answer the question, but he has time to scream at me.
It's a little frustrating hearing the fans booing Jason. He's going through a tough spot right now. He's got 80-some saves the last two years, and I don't think he deserves that.
Am I going to miss it? I won't miss the stadium when I play in the new one next year.
I was just figuring it would be a double. It was one of those things, a break for us.
My season is kind of a wash as far as some of the numbers. I'm really just trying to go out there and get prepared for what's to come. That's really it right now.
