I hit some balls in batting practice that I thought would be homers and they weren't. Then I hit a couple balls I didn't think were and they ended up in the seats.
Really, the ballpark is secondary for us. It's the fans that will hopefully put us over the top.
A three o'clock start in any ballpark is tough, but it's especially tough here. I'm not looking forward to too many more of those.
I was trying to figure out where the balls and strikes and the outs are posted today. Those are things you get comfortable with as a player. When you have to start looking for them all over again, it takes some adjusting.
All I asked was where the pitch was. I said 'How do you call that ball a strike?' and he told me 'Don't you come back here and argue with me.
In that situation, I thought I deserved a better answer than, 'Don't you come back here and argue with me,' ... I asked, 'How's that ball a strike?' and that's the answer I get. He doesn't have time to answer the question, but he has time to scream at me.
Our fans are the biggest key for us, that's where we get our energy from. Really the ballpark is just secondary right now for us, it's the fans that make a difference.

It's been a tough year for me. Basically, I was just trying to put the ball in play.
I was swinging the bat well in Chicago, had some good swings in Philadelphia but just not here. Putting the ball in play would be helpful. I just do something wrong and (the shoulder) gets a little sore. I take a bad swing, it gets a little worse.
It's hard to tell. I hit some balls in batting practice I thought were going to be homers, and they weren't. And a couple I didn't think would be, and they went into the seats.
I think it might be why I struggled in the World Series,
It's a pretty big honor, obviously. A lot of great players. I don't know if I've been here long enough to really deserve it, but I don't really know how many guys played here that long. But it's an honor.
My first question was whether I could know ... just for some peace of mind or to have a game plan how I could live my life the next couple years,
