Jim Ford was an American singer-songwriter originally from Johnson County, Kentucky. After living in New Orleans, Ford moved to Los Angeles, and finally settled in Fort Bragg, CA. Randy (the Ford's other son) is still healing from his accident earlier this year (he was struck by a sprint car in July, suffering a broken leg). With Doug's condition, racing just isn't that important right now. We appreciate the prayers and encouragement we have received from the racing community, but our family needs to be together right now. I hope everyone understands.
