I'm carrying a lot of momentum. Considering the circumstances, coming out of here in second (in the race) is a great run for the team.

I kind of view it as jealously, and he doesn't have a crew chief in there working hard enough to make his cars as good.

I have to admit, I was a little timid with it up there. I knew it was there and it was softer, but I am really trying not to bump draft. I've gotten myself into more trouble at plate tracks than I care to, so I'm just going to keep my bumper to myself.

I think last year we were all nervous about it and worrying about the cars in the final 10 and how vulnerable they are and how much is on the line,

I think sometimes we hit short tracks and everybody feels that they can be really aggressive and slide the car around. Jeff, he's sharp and knows what to do and how to make the car last.

It really is a tough track for us. The entries to the corner have really given me some problems. We just can't get our car into the corner right. The transition is pretty abrupt.

I've been aggressive before and made some mistakes that caused wrecks. Today I just wanted to sit and ride, and take care of things.

I just really slowed down the pace of the race in my eyes from what I was doing, made sure that I made smart moves that wouldn't have hung me out of the draft. I didn't try as hard to be the guy that led the most laps, made the most aggressive moves. I worked on the handling of our race car so at the end of the race we had the best driving car.

The thing I don't like, ... is the five Roush cars can go on a tear and nobody says anything, then we go out and win a race and so we've got to be cheating. It does get frustrating, but I choose to take it as a compliment.

Oh, no, oh, no. I feel very good, and I'm very happy with the race team. We've all been doing our jobs and having fun in the process, but it's a long season. We're only three races into it. I know our cars can be better. They can be faster, they can drive a little better.

That's more stock car country out there, ... There were a lot more people there than the store expected, but I wasn't really surprised. Word of mouth is a powerful tool in stock car racing.

I think we're getting some momentum back and heading in the right direction.

I was filling in for the 25 ... I'm not the only one that's been in somebody else's equipment or with somebody else's number on the side. There's been a lot of people doing it. It's just kind of how it is.
