I had two good swings (in the first four plate appearances), so I went back to the cage and worked with my personal hitting coach Shane Victorino on my swing some more. We put up just enough hits and runs for me to get another at-bat.

There's no need to run around crazy. It's like pitchers. The first couple of weeks they're throwing all fastballs or working on stuff, then eventually they put it all together. So far I've been watching pitchers, trying to get the timing down.

I knew that it was the final at-bat, I guess you could say. It was either going to happen or it wasn't. I've been waiting five or six months, there was really no rush. I was all right with that and the fact that if that would happen, I would have started a new one.
