I don't remember another time at Texas when we had more playing time available to a freshman ? We are not banking on the freshmen to give us help in the future. We need them to play now.
anyone article great guard knows players validated
If anyone knows how to play the guard position, it's her. I think this article really validated to some of our players that she was a really great player.
expected georgia inflated ourselves perception performance
I expected this kind of performance after the Georgia game. We probably had an inflated perception of ourselves going into Athens.

This was not the kind of effort we expected. And not the kind of effort that can result in anything but a loss.
connection kept looked lose proud refuses team totally

composure experience feed looks nina step
If they look at Nina and she looks like she's befuddled, then they feed off of that. Who else is going to have the composure and experience to step up and do that?

best four freshmen great guided hard leader mentor miss opportunity represent resource success volunteer worked
I am really going to miss these four seniors. As a group, they represent the best of what student-athletes can be. They are appreciative of every opportunity and resource we have at Texas. They've worked very very hard in basketball. Academically, all of them are a success story. They volunteer and give back in the community. They've guided the freshmen especially well, and each of them has been a great leader and mentor for our young team.
campus crucial forward game leadership nina played question senior since situations step stepped team
This team is Nina?s team, there?s no question about that. It?s always been the senior leadership that has to step forward and Nina has played every game since she stepped on this campus and she?s been in a lot of crucial situations ? and she?s the only one.
hard offensive possession
We just don't have enough offensive weapons. It's hard when every offensive possession is critical.
heels improving perfect quickly team
We're improving, but I don't know if we're improving quickly enough. This team has been on its heels for some time. We've been in a perfect storm.
