It is fun being in, I'll say that. It's a thrill to be in the playoffs. I really enjoy that part of it. From that standpoint, it makes the day much easier.
Obviously, we're very happy to have Tony with us for the foreseeable future, ... Along with Home Depot, he's been an important part of our organization for a number of years, and we're thankful that's going to continue.
Our guys in the fourth quarter are fighting their guts out. I would hope that they'd start the game like that.
I'd say we have, ... because of the team and the confidence factors and things.
I don't know how to rate it, I just know that being 5-3 right now is pretty good,
His role hasn't changed. He's an important part of what we do. The last week or two we haven't been very successful on offense. He's a big part of what we do, and he's in every pass play, and we'd like to get him the ball as much as we can.
It's a huge deal anytime you get in the playoffs. We showed guts and determination. I feel humbled and really thankful to get in. It was a hard-fought game and I was just thrilled to get out on the right end of it.
Something like that starts with me. . . . It was all of us together.
I'd love to have a rule where if you play on Monday night, you have to play at home the following Sunday. It's tough to operate on a short work week like that.
I think it's a confidence thing, hopefully, ... and I think the guys believe. They know what you're capable off. Certainly, I think our play has stepped up as we've kind of gone here. Hopefully, it carries over. Last year was so hard for us. We couldn't get a big play like we've had in these games. We just couldn't get a big one when we had to have it.
I think it was one of the prettiest plays I've ever seen,
It was one of those nights where everything went our way.
I think we all realized what was at stake. We had talked about it all week, the big ballgame for us and for them there was a lot at stake. There was a lot riding on it and we didn't play well. I think we take a long hard look at ourselves, and it certainly starts with me.
It's kind of hard to put your finger on it. There are a lot of things that you could sit here and make excuses about or something.
