We appreciate Patrick's contributions during his time here with the Washington Redskins. Through this entire process we always wanted what was best for Patrick and in working with him we feel this is where he wants to be. We've got to get it corrected because you won't win games up here turning the ball over and I'd still say those are two areas where we have not showed the kind of improvement I'd like -- turning the ball over and penalties. So it's something for a real focus from now until game time. In the regular season, we've got to try to find something to fix it.
I will be honest and say that I've never seen a schedule I like.
He is explosive. He can really run and he covers a lot of ground. You see when he gets matched up covering people, like tight ends and running backs, he does a very good job.
Just doing his part, ... He doesn't have to do more than that, you know. Direct it and get us points, but just do his part. I think one thing about Patrick is he's a real good student. I think he's smart. When you put the game plan in he has a feel for what we're doing there, so he only has to do his part. He doesn't have to make something happen by himself.
It was a big deal. At the end of the game, we're kicking an extra point to win the game.
