It's tough to explain. You can mention a lot of things, and I can't discount any of them.
I just wanted to find out if he still trusts me with this team.
I think it will be more comfortable for him. I think that's been from Spring Training all the way through. It's been less hectic than last year.
Safety first, we'll wait to play him Saturday.
He's come up in situations and you say,
You stop managing at that point in time,
I don't remember being this disappointed because I wanted this very badly.
You can see a little fire in him, especially when he gets angry with himself. He gets more determined. He does a real good job when he gets in trouble.
It's going to be nuts. It's always nuts when we play the Red Sox. It doesn't matter if it's April or September or October. It's always crazy.
He's a draw, and that's what this is about. I can understand his reluctance to make a choice between the two teams, because he doesn't want to upset anybody.
Just the fact that he was able to throw from the mound probably tells us it's not anything serious.
It's the final week. We're not really looking to the weekend. We're looking at every single game,
I have no hesitation at all about trying to continue to score runs there.
Spring Training is probably going to make up our mind,
