The purpose of the fund is for the development and support of renal dialysis programs that benefit the overall quality of health care at HYMC. The Howard Young Foundation dispersed more than $120,000 from its Dialysis Fund in order to purchase new dialysis machines for the department at Howard Young Medical Center. Also, the Auxiliary of Howard Young Medical Center recently contributed $26,000 toward the purchase of 2 additional new machines, however, with the expansion, more dialysis machines will be needed and the Foundation Dialysis Fund will support this vital program.
