allow coast continue decision effort focus game giants greater gulf hurricane katrina move necessary normalcy opportunity quickly region relief restore saints since sort stadium stated struck
We have stated since Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast that the most important focus for all of us is on the extraordinary relief effort that is necessary to restore that region to some sort of normalcy as quickly as possible. As a league, we have contributed to that effort, and as an organization, we will continue to do the same. We think the league's decision to move our game with the Saints to Giants Stadium will allow us an even greater opportunity to contribute.

best booth few game locker minutes next presence quiet seeing smile walk win
The walk we'd take after we'd win a game was always the best time. It was just that quiet few minutes between the end of the game and the locker room, making our way from the booth to the elevator, seeing that smile on his face. If you want to know when I feel his presence the most, that's when. I can still feel him right there next to me.
dad diego eyes game hospital hung knew lost might opened realized san smiled talking took tough visit
I went to visit him in the hospital after we lost the San Diego game. He knew that game was going to be tough for Eli because we all did. But then I think he opened everybody's eyes with the way he took us down the field, the way he hung in there all night. And that day in the hospital, Dad smiled and said, 'Hey, we might have something here.' And I realized he was talking about this year.

enjoyed everybody filling football greatest history labor largely league national paul prosperity quick remembered remind results shoes speak succeeded task thanks
Paul will be remembered as one of the greatest commissioners in the history of professional sports. When Paul succeeded Pete Rozelle as commissioner, he had big shoes to fill, as everybody was quick to remind him. In his own style, he went about the task of filling those shoes, and the results speak for themselves. During his tenure, the National Football League has enjoyed unparalleled popularity, prosperity and labor peace, thanks largely to Paul Tagliabue.
