bed cover excellent insulated kennedy last official snow total track
The track is in excellent shape. Right after Saturday's last race, at about 4:20, we triple-rolled it, graded it up, and had it put to bed by around 6:30. We were able to let it lay, and the cover of snow insulated it. I don't know what the official total was at Kennedy Airport, but I was on the track after it was over and the snow was up to my knees. I'd say it was at least 18 inches, probably more like 20.
expecting good pounding rain
We're expecting a lot of rain and it should be windy. Right now, we're pounding down the dirt. If we keep it good and tight, we'll be all right when it passes.
