balance effort guy
I'm an effort guy, a max-out guy. But I'm not a guy to go out there grunting, ... There's just no balance to closing.
chance given honestly last match people pitching staff stay took year
I honestly think if people would give this staff a chance to find its own identity, given what took place last year with Sosa pitching so well, we have the capabilities to match up with any other staff if we can stay healthy.
faith ultimate
I have the ultimate faith in what he's able to do.
I don't think, ... that it's anything more than a mindset.
I don't know if I'd go that far.
basically bulk certainly compete depended few great level mistakes overcame past players rely superstars talent undoing work
Certainly we can't rely on past formulas. Basically we depended on superstars to do the bulk of the work, but now that work has to be done by many players or we're not going to be able to compete at the level we're used to. In the past the talent of a few great players overcame our inefficiencies, but those mistakes were our undoing in the postseason.

baseball single strange ways
In baseball history, it'll never be done again, ... We did it in such strange ways every single year.
close kept knew needed pitching win
I feel I am pitching really good. Sometimes you give up runs. We needed a win and I knew if I kept it close we would have a chance. If not we can not come back from those deficits.
determine game
I don't need a game to determine anything about a pitch. This is what I've been through my whole career.
baseball beg division good guys playing terms
I beg to differ. One through five, they're as good as most people. I don't know if there's going to be a better division in baseball in terms of playing these guys 18 times.
