I'm proud of the way my team gave it's all on the court and never gave up. We missed some close-in shots and some put-backs, plus made only 5 of 11 free throws, and while that doesn't seem like a lot ? in a three-point game against a quality team, it added up.

The injuries were a big loss for us, no doubt about it. Other players are going to have to step up. The big part of advancing in the state tournament is staying healthy, so it's going to be a good test for us.

We just didn't finish. We have to find ways to execute better in the final minutes of the game. We just didn't do enough to win. They made the plays down the stretch and we didn't.

We wanted to come out with a lot of energy, and get on (Mundelein) as soon as possible. I thought we did that in the first quarter, but give Mundelein credit, they traded baskets with us for the most part.
