He was awesome tonight. We had him with 19 of 23 first pitches for strikes, nine two-strike counts, 41 fastballs for strikes -- he just couldn't have been better.
capable goes guys hitters jason pitch seen
I like what I've seen of Jason on the mound. He's really aggressive. He goes right after the hitters and doesn't back down. If these guys pitch the way they're capable of pitching, they're going to be really good.
gets might rotation several stay throws
He can do several things out there. It's a plus. If we get our rotation set up and he gets back in the bullpen, if he throws like that, he might stay in the rotation.
although third trying valuable
We're just trying to get him more at-bats. We're not trying to make him a third baseman, although he'd be more valuable if he could play another position.
