amazing throwing watch
It's just amazing what he does because he's not throwing 94, 93 mph. You watch Greg Maddux, that's an art.
game rhythm spring training work
It's just like hitting. I try to take one at-bat a game in spring training to bunt. You get into a rhythm with bunting, that's why I work on it.
committed definitely looks rebuild sad
It's going to be a while, not in a lot of peoples' lifetimes. It's sad because when you think about Louisiana, you think about New Orleans. It's definitely hard. It looks like they are committed to try to rebuild it, but the way it looks on TV, it's going to be a while for them to do that.
late
I've got to get out there. I can't be late for stretching.
create good havoc
It was good to create a little havoc on the bases.
guy left plate second slow third throw throwing
The guy was pretty slow to the plate once I got to second. The second time, I don't think (Valentin) wanted to throw to third after throwing it into left the first time.
reason
I think that's the only reason we're at where we're at today.
nice pick picking season
It was nice to pick up the offense. They've been picking me up all season long.
quick throws
Every one of those throws would have been close. They just weren't accurate. He has a good, quick move.
came definitely five game heat love root rooting sneak sports talk thursday within
I didn't like the way they came out the other night. I wanted them to come out like the Spurs, within the first five minutes, the game was over. I still think they are going to be all right. I'm kind of torn. I can't really talk about them too much here in Chicago. They love their sports out here. I have to root for the Heat silently around here. I'm definitely rooting for them, though. They play Thursday here, and we have an off-day. I'm going to see if I can sneak in there.
business control handle playing road teams trip
We're playing all the teams that are right there with us. You can handle your business and control your destiny. That's what you want to do in September. This is the road trip to do that.
care fans help rather team unnoticed whether win
I don't care about that stuff. I'd rather go unnoticed anyway. As long as I help the team win and get to the World Series, that's all I need. Whether there's two fans there or 20,000 in the stands, I'm going to play the same.
believe luck people
I still don't think people believe in us. People want to think we're lucking it up on things. That's all right. We'll luck it up all the way through the World Series.
ball both far games hitting pitchers playing sides winning year
It's just amazing. He's doing something this year I don't think a lot of pitchers have ever done as far as playing both sides of the ball, winning 21 games and hitting the ball the way he is.
