carolina definitely focus main needed
It's definitely something that you need to overcome. My focus needed to be on the Carolina Hurricanes because we were down 2-1 and we needed a big win. That was my main focus tonight.
leaves nobody occupies people room
It's huge. He does so many little things away from the puck, things nobody sees. He occupies one, sometimes two guys. That leaves a lot of room for people like me to work.
clean coach coming conference finished start worried
I'm not really worried about this loss. Like coach said, we finished 7-6 in non-conference, and our conference is coming up. We've got a clean slate, and we can start all over again.
coming heck impact
(Markov) was coming at me and I got the heck out of the way. I don't think it had much impact on the game.
good power shots
I thought we had some pretty good shots on our power play. We put a lot of pucks to the net. Unfortunately we weren't able to convert.
best close game games hard played position save teams third
I think it's one of the fastest-paced games that we've played this year. The teams battled hard for position out there but we were able to close the game out and save our best for the third period.
game matter ready
We're professionals. You've got to get yourself ready for the game no matter what is going on in your life.
good power shots
I thought we had some pretty good shots on our power play, ... We put a lot of pucks to the net. Unfortunately we weren't able to convert.
against best canada competitor olympics people saw
He's a competitor and that's the best part about him. A lot of people saw him play against Canada in the Olympics and, that night, he was the best goalie in the world. He's still good; nothing changes.
