Kate Marie Ziegleris an American competition swimmer who specializes in freestyle and long-distance events. Ziegler has won a total of fifteen medals in major international competition, including eight golds, five silvers, and two bronze spanning the World Aquatics and the Pan Pacific Championships. Coming into this meet, I didn't have high expectations. I was just coming in here to have a good time. I did everything I wanted to do, and I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It was beyond what I expected.
