It's still pretty surreal. It might not sink in until they're home, or until they go back to school and the other kids are all talking about it.

finally woke up one day and realized that I spent a lot of time alone.

Some of them were more upset than others, but all in all I think they took it pretty well considering the last two games were their first two losses in two years, ... I get more from these kids off the field than on the field. They're gentlemen. Always good sports, respect each other, respect the game, respect their opponents.
