definitely experience freshman hard helped learn neat pitch remember team work
I can definitely remember that year. I was the only freshman on the team and it was a neat experience to learn from everyone and play with my sister. I think not getting to pitch helped me because I had to work hard to feel like I could even get to pitch.
batter four kept knew learned relax three work
After four years of pitching, I've learned you've got to relax and you've got to be calm. I can get out of it. I knew I had to work one batter at a time. I just kept going and we got three outs. They didn't score.
expect good offense peak time
I don't really know what to expect this year. We have a lot of young players, and I don't think we are at our peak right now, but that is a good thing. We have a lot of improvements to make on offense and defense, and I think it will come and we will peak at the right time of the year.
pitch sophomore step
That sophomore year, when I had to pitch every game, that made me step up a level.
last state top tougher win
We could win a state title; that would top last year. I can top last year. It will be a little tougher for us, but we can do it.
