It was a lot work and time for us, but it's worth it. I learned an awful lot about music by working with Alan. When I played piano, I played a note at a time. It's nothing like what Alan does.

Now, you don't have to have a high school diploma to go to community college. Kids can go to tech schools. They might be called a dropout when they're not.

If everybody stayed in the same place and we didn't allow anybody to move, then you could use graduation rates as a true accountability factor. But that's not who we are.
alan balanced tone
We try to tone down the 'Alan is so great' kind of stuff. We don't want him to get a big head, and he doesn't have one. Alan is a very balanced person.
