I think it's more about letting the world have a piece of NASCAR. I think this is more about making some money, spreading the word about NASCAR, and getting your feet wet.

Now that I've reached 50, it has become important for me to sleep and wake up at my own pace. Otherwise, I'm completely zapped.

sports eye winning
It’s been a long four years for Junior Nation. I am happy for his fans and NASCAR. Now, let’s celebrate this win and help our sport grow. I have thought that ever since we took all our eyes and undivided attention off of Dale Jr. and gave him some breathing room, he was able to be more himself and relax a bit. Some of that pressure left him. Today we just saw the ‘Old Dale Jr.,’ the one we’ve been looking for, for a long time. He is back.

brothers career catching chance chose dirt drive finally last mike modified race rusty start track
We'd always come to the big track at Talladega when I was a kid, and we'd drive by the dirt track. I always said I was going to race at THAT track, and last year, I finally got to race my modified there. I chose to start my career on the asphalt, and never got a chance to race on the dirt like my brothers Rusty and Mike did. So now, I'm just catching up.
