hitting quick spots throwing
I'm throwing a lot of strikes, hitting my spots and getting quick outs -- that's the important thing for me.
beginning preaching
They've been preaching that to me over and over, and now it's beginning to stick.
couple good hopefully league major season time unless
It's very important. We won't even have a Major League season unless we do it here first. It's a good time to do well if I want to make this team, and I feel if I can get a couple more good outings, hopefully it'll be good enough to get me on.
ahead few hitters past problem rotation short today
Making the rotation is my goal. Today I was able to get ahead of most of the hitters and that makes for short innings. That's been a problem for me the past few years.
cost few gave given home pitch run
I gave up the home run to Wright which cost me but I've given up a few home runs. I'm not going to try to pitch around guys.
barry basically definitely felt field games good healthy huge lift nice players playing season stay talent waiting won year
It kind of felt like we were playing a whole season basically waiting for Barry to come back. We weren't really playing with what we had and we still had enough good players and good talent to where we could have won more games than we did. ... It's going to be nice to have if Barry does stay healthy all year. Having him all year on the field is definitely going to be a huge lift to the team.
beforehand definitely gonna kinda knew sent springs toughest
The other springs I kinda knew beforehand that I probably was gonna be sent down. ... It was definitely the toughest send-down I've had out of the 10-15 times I've been sent down.
