I already knew (Dimitrova) from her junior career because she was rated No. 1 in Bulgaria at one point. Elena knew her, and we convinced her to come in January, which has been huge for our team.

Cindy is a leader on and off the court. She leads by example. She's one of hardest-working players I've ever had.

She has been everything I thought she would be, and then some. But once she develops her game more, she going to be really dangerous. I see her in the top 50 in the next couple of years.

This was a solid weekend for us. I was pleased with the way Elena competed while playing top-50 players back to back and winning convincingly. Cindy and Claire both played well to finish to strong and it was good to see Sharon and Linda reach the finals of their flights.
