In all of our shows, we have a narrative. When you have music in the forefront, the lyrics help people understand (the story). The other main focus in 'Delirium' is multimedia. We're using it as never before. We did a 10-day video shoot in Montreal with the characters, acrobats, artists and dancers in the show. We also have a live camera onstage.

He lives a lot in his head, like a lot of us live in our little condos with our computers. We interact less and less with other humans and don't use our imaginations as much. This character's head is a big hot-air balloon, and he flies away to find the balance between (living in) the real world and being able to keep his creativity and childlike heart.

The rendering is really incredible, with lighting and smoke effects with all these wonderful projections. Technology is always going forward and giving us more tools to work with.
